The lotto numbers for Friday 7th December 2012 were 9, 15, 17, 22. There was no jackpot winner, match three winners were Bridie Campbell, Rose Cushnahan, Joe Hamilton and Teresa Devlin. Next weeks jackpot is £5800.
In the U21 Championship Ardboe defeated Moortown on Sunday 9th December on a scoreline of Ardboe 4-6 Moortown 0-7 to secure their place in the semi final. Ulster Minor Championship semi final is fixed for boxing day against the Derry champions Glen.
Gaelic start for Boys & Girls P1-P3 finishes in St Patrick’s Primary School on Wednesday 12th and will take place as usual from 7 to 8 pm. Each child should bring their own water bottle and parents must be in attendance.
Indoor training continues in the football pavilion for all U13/ U14 players and any U16 players not currently involved with the minor squad on Monday nights @ 7pm. Each player should bring their own water bottle.
New Ardboe hoodies and Jerseys are now in stock at Intersport in Cookstown.
Youth presentation night for all boys and girls aged 10 and under will be held in the Parish Centre on Saturday 15th December at 4pm.
Aerobics continue in the Parish Centre on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7pm – 8pm.
Gerry’s weekly quiz continues every Thursday night @ 9pm the Parish Centre. New teams welcome.
The youth group meets in the Parish Centre on Tuesdays at 6:30pm. All children aged 12 up welcome.
The club staged a very successful production of A Widows Paradise in the Parish Centre on Saturday 1st December and Saturday 8th December. The production was a great success and a great credit to everyone involved both on and off the stage. Thanks yet again to the cast and production team for the countless hours of preparation, the staff and management of the Parish centre for their continued support in functions like this and to anyone who supported the production through attendance or sponsorship.
The Southern Area Hospice will be hosting a fundraising night in Ardboe Parish Centre on Boxing night to help raise much needed funds for the Hospice. Why not celebrate Christmas in style on Boxing Night with the fabulous Flyin’ Fiddle taking to the stage! Tickets are on sale at £5 and are available from local shops and the Parish Centre. Want to lose weight or just get fit after Christmas?? Then come along and sign up to “SlimFit”. SlimFit is a 10 week programme that the club are running in January where you can come along to try and lose weight or just to keep fit. There will be a range of activities organised every week including aerobics, circuits, walking, dancing, indoor soccer and many more. Suitable for men and women of all fitness levels and age groups (16+). Cost is £10 per week – this includes weekly weigh-in (optional), choice of activities on a daily/nightly basis, diet and health information, prizes for the men and women losing the most weight.
