This week the new floodlights at Michael Coney park’s new training surface were lit up for the first time and they are certainly a great job that will ensure some good, hard, tough training sessions come next year!

There are currently four senior jerseys missing after the league semi final against Dromore a few weeks ago. The numbers on them are 8, 16, 21 and 22. These jerseys are part of a new set just got this year and we would appeal to anyone who has saw them or had them to return them as soon as possible.

This weeks lotto was drew on Saturday night due to the clubs dinner dance and there was only one lucky match 3 winner who was Christopher Wilkinson. The numbers were 1, 13, 16 and 26 and next weeks jackpot will be £2200.

The clubs annual dinner dance was held on Friday night along with the Ladies and Camogie club in the Greenvale Hotel. A nice crowd of people turned up and all had an enjoyable night. Player of the year awards were up for offer also and senior captain John McConville was duly given the senior player of the year and the reserve player of the year award went to Frankie O’Hagan for his hard work during the season. Youth player of the year was given to Eugene Martin for his dedication to youth football this year.

The club is running another big bingo this winter on Sunday 10th December at 3 pm in the parish centre. This is over 5000 in prizes and we hope as many people as possible support it along with the parish bingo on Friday evenings.
