On Sunday night past the boys youth season came to a close with a presentation evening held in the parish centre.  All boys from U8’s to U14’s were presented with various awards.  Main winners were U13 Player of Year – John McAuley & Michael Cassidy (Joint), U13 Most Improved Player of Year – Ryan Mulgrew, U14 Player of Year- James McDonald and U14 Most Improved- Aiden Duffy. 
 
Many thanks to all who turned out to make this a successful night and especially those who helped organise the event and give a hand on the night.  Appreciation also to the Parish Centre, Martin O’Neill (DJ) and the sponsors of the gift vouchers.
 
The Youth Officer would like to thank all the various managers who give their time and efforts throughout the year, the various committee members, the club referees, and the jersey sponsors and to anyone else who helped in any way.  Let’s hope we have everyone on board again next year and more importantly anyone who thinks they have spare time available is very welcome.
 
Our 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner is soon approaching also and there a very few table left along with single places. Anyone wishing to book a table or seat must do as soon as possible with one of the Gala Committee. Accommodation is also filling up and is priced at £75 per room including breakfast. Please give your details to Neil Coney as soon as possible.
 
This weeks lotto no’s were 2, 15, 17 and 24. There was no jackpot winner. Match 3 winners: Lisa Higgins, Sean P. Coleman and Eamon McElroy. Next weeks jackpot will be £2300.
 
The Clubs A.G.M will take place on Monday 8th January at 7.30pm upstairs in the pavilion. Members from 2006 only. Nomination forms have been sent out to all members and should have been returned on Monday 4th.
 
Currently the defibrillator provide to the club from the Cormac Trust is been kept in Cove Manor Nursing home, Mullinahoe Rd. Any details required can be found on www.ardboegfc.com
 
The club is running another big bingo this winter on Sunday 10th December at 3 pm in the parish centre. This is over 5000 in prizes and we hope as many people as possible support it along with the parish bingo on Friday evenings.
 
Congratulations to Greencastle in their recent Ulster championship victory and also commiserations to Ballinderry in their defeat.
